This Pacers team reminds me of that Pistons team in a lot of ways. If they win it all this year, then I'll have a little hope. If not, then I'll be even more convinced that we're never winning a title without a true star.

Either way, that Pistons team is without a doubt the EXCEPTION to the rule. You don't try to build your team like the exception, you build it following the rule, if you're serious about winning titles.

I just don't see Utah getting a superstar. Now if you consider guys like Boozer or Okur to be stars, yeah, Lindsey could overpay to attract a couple of guys of that caliber. But all-stars aren't lining up to sign with the Jazz.

Lottery luck this year, then having whoever we pick pan out is our only chance of getting a star. We desperately need a top 3 pick.
 
A loss tonight moves up the tank standings past the Lakers and Cavs. Puts us back into 6th and a 1/2 game back of Boston for the 5th spot.

Always good when the non-playoff teams in the EC play each other. It's must-see, comedy TV: which team can outtank the other?!
I'm hoping Favors is out tonight. Toronto is a game the Jazz should normally win at home, so a loss would be excellent.

Let him gloat. We need a loss here badly. I want to win a championship someday and we aren't going to do it unless we get a superstar.
 
Hayward, Kanter and Burke struggling. Favors and Evans out. Marvin Williams is the top scorer and Burks still isn't starting.

I just looked at the box score of the Kings game and saw that Gay and Cousins are back? Am I dreaming?
