(17-10) Jazz @ (18-10) Grizzlies - Gamethread

It was just tweeted that Alec Burks just finished his work out by dunking the ball after putting it through his legs in midair.

His *** is fine. Put him in a jersey Monday night.

If he added a Houdini lob to his game, watchout.

For those who think Hayward doesn't play well in the last quarter:

We were down 64-66 with 6:20 to go. We went on an 11-2 run over the next four minutes, and outscored them 18-7 over the final six minutes.

During this stretch, Hayward scored 6 points (two threes) and made three assists, which resulted in two threes and a dunk. Gordon scored or assisted on 14 of our final 18 points.

but he's not clutch, he's not a star, he always turns the ball over and doesn't step up when needed blah blah blah ....

Where are the idiots who wanted to trade him for the 3rd pick in the draft ..

This game had a very gritty feel to it. The Jazz got pushed around a bit, didn't get a lot of calls in my opinion and had to dig deep in the 4th to pull away. The Jazz are very capable of being an extremely tough out in the playoffs. It's getting to the point where the Jazz are slowly but surely becoming the team that no opponent wants to face on any given night.

Hayward was a little off on offense (although still probably one of the best on the court), but he was absolutely everywhere on defense and just hustling in general. I think he knew that that's what it takes against this team and he was superb imo.

We are currently at 52.7 win pace. If we can go 6-2 over the next 8, that jumps to 54.67 win pace. 7-1 over the next 8 and we are at 56.9 win pace.

Let's. ****ing. Go.

8-0 is 59.22 win pace.

Bring. On. The Dubs.

Jazz had 14 fewer offensive rebounds and 7 more turnovers than the Griz, and shot 56% from the line, but still won by 9. Even when **** falls apart, this team hangs in there. Great great win.

You converted over yet?

I kinda wish Shaq was still playing and dominant. I would love to see him play against the Rudster.

I love rudy but that's a bit much I think

In the after game interview Rudy was asked by Kristen Kenny if it gave him extra confidence with what he did with Gasol. His answer was great "Im already confident." Then with a smirk "Im good"

I missed the game and just saw the boxscore- wtf? Did Rudy kick Gasol's *** as thoroughly as the numbers make it appear?

9-9 vs 4-22. Lol. At what point does Gasol simply pull a Roberto Duran.
