Thats 14 mph. I bet half the country cant even reach that speed for 10 seconds.That is really exciting. I am happy for him. Now, I hope he can do it in a competition and make it the new world record!
He seems like such a nice humble guy. Its pretty cool that he has stayed in his home country Kenya. Pretty much everyone else from there that has had any success has moved to Europe or USA.
Its also crazy to think he is averaging 4 minute 33 second miles. Most humans, even really good runners cant run 1 mile at that pace let along an entire marathon.
