What's new

2 cents from the Media

Honestly, the fact that those bottom feeders that call themselves sports journalists don't like Deron just makes me like him all the more.

I can't stand Harping, Boler, Boone. I can't stand Locke or anyone one on 1280 the zone.

I like Deron Williams.

I LOVE Steve Brown. :)

I have never, ever listened to 1280. The only local station I ever listen to is 1320, but that is a rarity.

(once calling rod zundel a Mother F'er when zundel had walked away in front of all the other media members)

I remember this, SLCDunk.com had the audio a few years ago. Zundel was asking him a question, and stumbled over his words, and made the question sound as awkward as humanly possible; Deron just responded "I don't know" then went Zundel wandered off, you hear Deron say "I hate that mother****er". Good stuff.

Sounds hilarious. Link?

Hmm, without consideration of Steve Browns reporting abilities I think he should be applauded for waiting until Deron left to criticize him. Deron treated him with utter contempt, routinely humiliated him during live post-game shows, and behaved like a spoiled child as the original post described. It's a credit to the reporter for not calling out Deron before, or suing the Jazz for harrasment or making a scene another way.

Deron's contempt for everyone around him including the media, his coach, his teamates, the rookies was easily apparent. I think it was sucking the life out of the jazz organization, so the trade was a good thing. For Deron's sake, I hope the trade shakes him up a bit and he can learn.

Steve Brown has the character, courage and talent of John Amaechi.
