For being the biggest rookie disappointment......

3. Which rookie has been the biggest disappointment thus far?

Chad Ford, ESPN.com: Klay Thompson. I was never 100 percent sold on Thompson. He had his strengths as a college player but also had major weaknesses. But when Jerry West fell in love with him, I finally got on board. After six games, he's shooting just 33 percent from the field.

James Herbert, HoopSpeak: Enes Kanter. For all of his skills, he has yet to make a field goal outside the restricted area. Although it was predictable that he'd struggle for minutes in the early going, I had hoped the No. 3 pick would flash more in his limited time.

Andrew Lynch, Hardwood Paroxysm: Derrick Williams. Williams, overshadowed by Rubio, has disappointed relative to expectations. There's little bad about his play -- other than maybe shooting four 3-pointers per 36 minutes at just a 33 percent clip -- but his performance so far is hardly becoming of the second pick.

Jared Wade, 8 Points, 9 Seconds: Enes Kanter. We expected this guy to need some time, but he might need more time than expected. He can rebound, and he might lead the league in hair follicle density. Other than that? He has a lot to work on.

Kyle Weidie, Truth About It: Kemba Walker. His field goal percentage (.364) is worse than that of the Jimmer (.367), who has been inconsistent himself, especially on defense. But let's revisit this after these two have a better chance to get their NBA shooting legs under them.

These guys are pathetic.

This is stupid, why would they have this question with less than 10 games played! Would like to see this question asked at the all-star break!

Wow, terrible, don't agree with any of those guys being disappointments, and as mentioned it's too early.

Not only is it early, with Kanter we're talking about a guy who hadn't played competitively in 1 1/2 years. Take heart, though, last season after 10 games the list would have probably included Favors.

These guys are pathetic.

I really want Ty to push and encourage Kanter to trying that sweet mid range jumper. It would really open his game and contribute Jazz offense big time.

Other than that, it is totally nonsense how they can throw Kanter into this biggest rookie disappointment BS considering all the conditions Kanter has...

There's better gossip on 'The View' or one of those 'Look at what she's wearing" Hollywood review programs if that's what you're into.

They are clearly going off of stats and haven't watched him play.

This.

If they had watched him play, he'd be getting good reviews. He has shown elite level skill in one of the game's most important statistics + flashes that his post moves will translate.

Did I impregnate your wife or something?

Either put me on your ignore list or quit whining.

Whining? You must have started 44 threads over the course of the last week and I'm not sure one of them was worth wiping my *** with.

And impregnate? Really? We all know you're a limp noodle.

My biggest problem with Kanter is that even if he rebounds and scores a bit he is thoroughly outproduced by his counterparts. At least according to 82games.com his PER per position per 48min is -9.9. And not like he was facing starting caliber centers. Not surprisingly the worst on the Jazz is Raja with astounding -19.9

As long as Kanter rebounds consistently, Ty will give him minutes. I really hope he develops a game outside of two feet.

I have no issues with Kanter so far. I hope to see improvement in his shot, obviously, but I love his rebounding. If he's still having difficulty finishing around the rim and not showing his mid-range game in a couple months, then I might get a little concerned.

As someone who was VERY anti-Kanter, I guess I'm not all that anti anymore. He has no post moves, outside of the Jimmer style wardball jukes -- which have been stuffed, repeatedly -- and I've only heard rumor of his outside game. But he does have the "IT" factor. That is, he isn't a clodding lump of white **** like we normally get out of the darft. He has heart. He bangs and gets rebounds, despite his 2" vertical. I'm a fan.

My wife calls him ****** Koonter. Kind of a turn on, actually.

I thought your biggest problem is not drafting JV insdead of Kanter.
