Watching both videos makes me look forward to seeing two more years of Favors and Kanter play together with Burke, Hayward and whoever they can get in the draft to round out the starting five. There's so much potential with this group once they get a new coach and a legit #1 option.

Length-wise and based on athleticism, Kanter should be a 5 to Favors' 4. But when I watch him shoot the ball, he looks like a PF to me. I'd personally like to see the Jazz experiment with their big lineup where Kanter plays C with Favors in the game and he then switches to PF and they put Gobert in at C. I'd really like to see how they'd play together. Of course he needs to improve his conditioning to significantly play the 4 spot.
I'm with ya. It just doesn't feel right to think of him playing big minutes 15' from the basket.. but his lack of lift makes it hard to see him being a max player with huge minutes around the rim. It seems like there's a very good player somewhere in that mix, but I don't pretend to know what that looks like yet.

He's a forward. Whenever he played center anytime in his career, it was mainly because of his size.
