as in teams still in the playoffs? How many jazz players have played for previous teams before coming here? In the history of the NBA, how many players have stayed with the same team they were drafted by?

Ian Clark
Brandon Rush
Enes Kanter
Randy Foye
Mo Williams
Richard Jefferson
Deron Williams
Wes Matthews
Paul Millsap
Kyle Korver
Demarre Carroll
Al Jefferson
Devin Harris
Marvin Williams
CJ Miles
Kris Humphries

Just trying to name them all off the top of my head. Who were the other four?

As I said in another thread, "The defining characteristic of the post Boozer Jazz was mismanagement."

I say it was the post Boozer era, but really it was the post Larry Miller era, when he died February 20, 2009 it created a cascading effect through the organization. Boozer leaving, Big Al coming, Deron fighting coach, Coach Sloan quitting, Tyrone Corbin, blown lottery picks, "Lets play all the veterans", letting Milsap walk for nothing were all consequences of the turmoil created by Larry passing. It was a difficult time to be a Jazzfan, and there are plenty of painful reminders out there. Some of those "what ifs" and "if onlys" will hang around for a long time.

Luckily it appears the Jazz have moved past that, with a new President, a new GM, a new assistant GM, and a new Coach. True, these guys haven't really proven themselves yet, but they appear to have turned the corner and there are many indications they are bringing stability and a unified focused effort.

I was an angry bitter jazzfan for several years following the 2008-09 season. I think I have also turned a corner, it is fun again. Neither I nor the Jazz can undo what was done in the dark years, so here is to looking ahead and not living backwards.

The number included teams that made the playoffs not those that are still playing. Bryce Cotton was one of the names included although I don't think he played a minute for the Griz in their series.

Both Sap and Big Al walked for nothing.

This. We could have easily got some nice assets for Big Al as well, he was putting up some good numbers when playing for us. Despite the negative impact he might have had in terms of team play he was a wizard in the low post.

I don't think those players combined would even get a team to the playoffs.

Patently false. Trade deadline where Redick was the biggest name traded and every team refused to trade a first round pick.
