Whose ceiling is higher?

I'd have to say Burks.

I like what Thorpe said about how Burks should model his game around Harden and to "read and react, not attack then read."

If he can knock down the 3pt at around 30-35% and play with a bit more composure together with his attacking, I think he can be a very good player.

klay thompson is more of a shooter, alec burks is more of a scorer. depending on how other guys shake out, we may wish we had a shooting specialist, but i like that we have a guy with a real scorer's mentality.

the other thing i'll point out is that thompson has a green light and almost unlimited minutes on a really bad team that has shut down half their roster. by contract, every minute alec plays a) is earned, and b) matters. that makes a difference in the long run. but yeah, i think both can be very good pros.
