2011 draft.....

See you can look at this in different ways, he says Knight could be a better pro than Irving if it all comes together. There's no guarantee that happens. Obviously Knight is still a good player, but who knows how good he will be.

In regards to Kanter, Ford says that he has the physical tools and talent, and has a good attitude and work ethic. I find nothing wrong with that. All he's saying is that he's still unknown, and that anybody who tells you that they know he's going to be a star or a bust is full of ****. Weren't you somebody saying that he was going to a bust? So since you said we aren't allowed to say that Ford is an idiot, by that logic, you are full of **** good sir.

/ I like Kanter and Knight and would be happy with either of them.

I am full of BEEEEERRRRRRR and Kanter is the BUUUSSSTORZXSX.

Sheesh gang. I leave for a second and things get venomous.

Don't turn against each other. That's what they want you to do. Remember fellas, the fight's out there!

Well I have Kanter as my first pick. I just hope he is there at 3. I think the T-Wolves will pick him after watching him play. I think the kid is going to be very solid.

Euros

I don't remember a draft with this many Euros slated to be drafted as high as they're projected. Is this a testament to a "weak draft" or is it that they're deserving of a high pick? If it's the latter, why do many think they're going to be busts?
For example: I don't hear Kawhi Leonard is going to be a bust while most of what I hear is Jan Vesely is. I saw highlights of Vesely and he looks like AK mixed with Dirk.
You take Bargnani and Gallinari and didn't they turn in to what was expected? They're pretty good players...

Why is this news? I told everyone Kanter was going 1 the night of the lotto.

I don't think he goes #1 but very likely at #2. I do expect the Cavs to draft Derrick Williams #1 though so it is likely for us to pick between Irving and Knight.

The Cavs will take Irving #1. It's already set in stone. Don't kid yourselves.

Kanter could go #2, but it's not likely.

We all know how the script will play out 1, 2, and 3 if you are being honest.

Kanter is a Jazzman.

Some stuff from Tribjazz:

Kanter set to work out for Jazz Friday morning in Chicago. Expected to focus on offense — pick-and-roll, pick-and-pop. Likely work w/ guard.

Kanter not expected to focus on defense during workout. ... Chance that he could have another workout in Salt Lake City if all goes well.

Kanter is definitely open to the idea of playing for Jazz. Believes team would be a good fit for his skills.

This keeps coming up with Jazz's No. 3, 12 picks: Utah can find another PG or SG at 12 if Jazz pass on Walker, Knight. But there's not another Kanter on the board, in terms of his size, shooting skill, youth and potential.

O'Connor is big on length, size and interior depth. Easier to get a SG via trade/signing than drafting a "special" young center at No. 3.

He plays nothing like Dwight Howard (from what I've seen/read) it just a friend of his agent hyping him up.

Maybe, but it's interesting that Kemba Walker is going to work out for Cleveland.

They are doing their homework nothing more nothing less. They will probably bring in Knight at some point as well. It would be wise to compare Irving to the other top pg's. That will help them decide on taking Irving first or go bif with Kanter or williams then take who they like between Knight and Walker at the 4th pick.

That was my point. That they might be considering Williams with the first pick.

I think Europeans associate any large-body guy that makes his living around the basket with Howard. I've heard people compare both Kanter and Valanciunas to Howard. Neither of who's game even remotely resembles Howard's.
