The clips love Jordan and hate this draft. The gave their first rounder to Cleveland so they would take Davis. Then said now you can see how weak we think this draft is.
Was studying about Perry Jones... is it just me or he looks like he can become a Lamar Odom type if he develops right?
Just wondering with Perry Jones.
Isn't Jeremy Evans a similar type player?
Evans is a couple inches shorter but isn't he a poor man's Perry Jones.
Could Evans become almost as good as Jones?
Taking P Jones also dooms Evans career because he would get pushed back down the depth chart.
Perry Jones the same as Evans?! Thats ridiculous. Perry showed flashes of being an excellent offensive player and Evans virtually has no offensive game besides dunking. Jones has a pretty good mid range game and has some 3 point range. He also rebounds fairly well and has handles. He also doesn't get man handled down low
I dont know i was not that impressed with him during the NCAA tournament. Certainly a good rebounder but not a whole lot of skill on offense. We already have a better version of him in Millsap. Definitely not a top 12 pick.
I can understand Biyombo, so no argument there. But why would we replace Millsap with Faried? Millsap had even better production that Faried in college and he has better size. Also, we don't know that Faried will be able to develop an outside shot like Millsap has. I would be very angry if we tried to replace Millsap with Faried.
What do you guys think of Jordan Hamilton for the 12th pick or someone to grab a little lower and trade down. I have no idea why he isn't higher on draft boards. He is a really good shooter, athletic, great scorer and rebounds very well.
Bismack had 12 and 11. You wanna draft him with the Jazz first lottery pick?
He had 12 points and 11 rebounds, true, but the point is he had 10 blocks... first triple-double ever for Hoops Summit. My guess is he will be ready at the 12th pick. He's only 6'9" but with a 7'7" wingspan, a 9'3" standing reach and exceptional athleticism, he can play center in the NBA. I would not mind picking him with the 12th pick.
Brandon Knight at No.6 and Biyombo at No.12 will be considered a good draft.
