That is because the intl players are already playing professionally against men in their 20s and 30s. Many teams also like to limit the minutes of the young guys to try to keep them from going to the nba.

Exactly if you knew he was as good as AK you take him before 12. Dont see him being as much as a shot blocker, but hopefully a better shooter. His 2pt fg% is 60. Still working on his 3pt games, but has been getting better.

Arent you confusing summer league and the DLeague? Could swear i read that DLeague has separate CBA so it would continue in operation.

No, summer league. I don't know what happens with DLeague, but I'm guessing those teams can play. They just wouldn't use players under NBA contracts. The league is trying to keep hope alive that Summer League won't have to be cancelled. But they're in July with the CBA set to expire July 1st. No CBA, no summer league.

This is correct. Although if you asked Stern right now, he'd say (while lying through his teeth) that he fully expects things to get resolved before the current CBA expires. So while they say it isn't cancelled I think most people would be surprised if there were any summer leagues this year.
 
I haven't read through the entire thread, but has Harrison Barnes officially decided to go back to school? I keep hearing different things
