2011 draft.....

My best case:

Jazz win lottery and draft Kyrie Irving.
Swing Devin Harris for a legit shooter wing player to put next to Hayward.

Yeah, Leonard reminds me more of a Rodman/Artest type. That's not a bad thing. But it isn't Wallace nor is it Marion.

I only saw Leonard play a little bit this year. I could be wrong about him. I do love his work ethic.

A week or so back, I said that Blake Griffin had bad knees coming out of Oklahoma and I got dinged for it, nobody believed me at all. I said that because I was comparing Enes Kanter saying if Blake Griffin had bad knees coming out of college, then it is no worry for Kanter because look how great Griffin is doing. Kanter has definitely got me thinking, if the Jazz move into the top three I would take him at #3 and maybe #2 over Derrick Williams, but not #1 Kyrie Irving is the definite best player in this draft right now. Back to my point here is my proof that Blake Griffin had knee problems at Oklahoma:

(Blake Griffin) Missed a game following each of two separate injuries, sprained MCL in left knee five minutes into Jan. 14 game at Kansas and partial tear of medial meniscus in right knee five minutes into March 1st contest vs. Texas A&M.

Dude, Griffin missed a whole year because of his knee. I would say it's still a potential concern for him.

As a Ute fan, I'm excited to see how Jimmer will pan out. Every now and then players that are told they don't have a chance to succeed prove many people wrong. Will this be Jimmer? I don't know, but boy, he sure can shoot.

As a Ute fan, I'm pulling for Jimmer. I honestly think he could become a slightly slower version of Mark Price if he tunes in and works hard. I just don't know how big an impact that kind of player would have in today's league. Most successful PGs today can score in the lane, beat guys off the dribble and break down defenses. This is what I worry about with Jimmer.

It wouldn't surprise me if the Jazz were looking at a player like Reggie Jackson or Josh Selby as darkhorse picks at 12.

Yes. IMO Zack Randolph is one of the most underrated guys of the past decade in the NBA. Imagine how good he would be if he wasn't a headcase and jackass like he was in Portland. The dude is the Steve Nash of bigs in the NBA. Zero athletic ability and if you give him and inch he will expose you.

I put Al Jefferson on the same level as Zach Randolph. I think Jefferson would be able to rev it up for the playoffs like Zach Randolph has.

Kanter is the Demarcus Cousins of this draft without the immaturity. That makes him a high lottery pick. The only question I have is about his ability to score against NBA bigs, something Randolph has proven he can do.

The Euro players like Vesely, Biyombo and Montiejunas haven't been getting looks in workouts and so they're slipping in mocks. It wouldn't surprise me if they rise again once they start working out for teams in the U.S. I'd love to see Biyombo in a workout with Leonard, Marcus Morris and Vesely. I could even picture Montiejunas having a few good workouts and being called the most talented 7-footer since Sabonis or Nowitzki. It's just that the Americans are getting all the attention in their summer workouts at the moment.

I know he's older (25) and was dismissed from Oklahoma State but Gary Flowers from So. Miss in the mid or late 2nd is intriguing. Hell, if he's not drafted, he's someone I'd definitely love to bring in. 18.8 points on 47.6% shooting including 40.7% from three. He has a lightning quick stroke apparently. 7.7 rebounds. 1.4 blocks. 1.1 steals. 1.1 assists.

Had great measurements: 6'6.5" without shoes, 7'4.5" wingspan, 8'11.5" standing reach, 35.5" no step vert, 39.5" max vert, 4.6% body fat, 9.31 lane agility, 4.14 3/4 sprint.

He's older and flawed and there's not a ton of upside but again, if he's not drafted...
