It's being reported that Gary Payton has been elected to the HoF:

Mitch Richmond tweeted earlier this week that he wasn't elected this year.

Tim Hardaway is the other big first-time finalist among former NBA players. I haven't heard anything news on whether he'll be in or not. Other former NBA player finalists include Bernard King, Spencer Haywood, and Maurice Cheeks. It'll be interesting to find out who's in come Monday.
 
I will be shocked if John Stockton is not the one presenting the Glove. I hope he does if only to make carolinajazz' head explode.

...you got that right! The NBA HOF is a joke anyway. Everybody and their momma's are in it! All you have to have done is dribble the ball between your legs twice.....and your in!!!

It's not actually the NBA HoF. That said, you're right on about how easy it is for people to get in. Russ Grankik, former deputy NBA commissioner, is going into the Hall for crying out loud.
