I'm excited about Snyder too. But it is usually very difficult for coaches to succeed right away, specially when they're overhauling the team philosophy. I'd give him a couple of years.

Definitely agree it will be difficult, but I think we're going to be a lot better this season than everyone is anticipating.

There will be. Locke referred to it a couple of times but couldn't specify the details because the official release hasn't gone out yet. It sounded like that will be officially announced tomorrow. If it's anything like the last couple of years it will be on Saturday, which makes the most sense with the preseason games starting next week.

I've always been incredulous to the thought that Kanter can play PF since he is much too slow to guard the other teams PF and cannot defend the rim if he plays the pivot. However, if he can space the floor, he could also abuse the other teams PF in the post. The problem is you need Rudy to make up for his getting burned by fast PFs, but Rudy can't space the floor for Kanter on the block. Will be interesting to behold.

Mentioned he could also shoot it pretty well from range - could really thrive in Quin's system the way Pero Antic was successful last year with the Hawks. (i.e., a shooting center).
