Greg doesnt communicate a lot with Quin, not his role. Greg sets expectations, then steps back to let Dennis and Quin have the autonomy to do his thing. Greg is going to do a road trip with the team this year. Quin likes Greg's leadership style.

Quin hopes players respect him not just because he is the coach, but because he knows what he is talking about that he is prepared. Confrontation is part of the nba.

A little concerned about Hayward's weight gain, Hayward attributed it to his new wife cooking better. Dennis okay with that.

Quin has a natural gift for communication. Quin talked today with the team about basic communication, he wanted to make it clear.

Quin uses lots of verbal cues for play calls. They are working on verbal call outs in Turkish, French and Aussie to help their players feel a part.

Trey can be like Peyton Manning "Omaha".

Yesterday the coaching staff met for 2 hours to make sure they had a plan for the first practice. Quin pays attention to details.

Derrick favors are you excited to play for Quin Snyder? Definatley. I've worked with him all summer. He wants me to be a leader, has me working on my 15-footer.

Dennis: we've had good coaches in the past. Derek made improvement last season. We look forward to him making more improvemtns this season....talked about the suddleties of setting screens.

Favors said he will have a game this season with 10 assists.
