2014-15 Rookies Watch

To bad about Aaron. Injuries like these are especially devastating for players who rely on athleticism. Well, he will have plenty of time to work on his free throws now.

Most overrated rookie class of recent history?
Looks like it right now. But there are still a couple more games still to be played this year

4 players are hitting 60% or better on mid-range jumpers (min 20 atts) Dirk Nowitzki, Luke Ridnour, Otto Porter and Enes Kanter

OP better midrange shooter than any rookie. OP is the best.

I think Otto might end up being pretty dang good. He's an efficient do it all type of player. I wish the Wizards wouldn't have signed Pierce. He would probably be balling out right now.

Will be funny if he is better than anyone from this draft class like you predicted. Both Wiggins and Parker aren't living up to the hype yet.

Pierce should be an awesome mentor for Otto. There is so much he can learn from him.

Jabari joins the ranks of the injured rookies:

Reportedly a sprain, but I'm guessing it's the worst of the sort.

Julius Randle To Undergo Surgery To Replace Fifth Metatarsal In Foot
Jan 4, 2015 11:29 PM

Julius Randle will undergo surgery on Tuesday morning to replace the screw in the fifth metatarsal of his right foot, the Los Angeles Lakers announced Sunday night.

The surgery will be performed by Dr. David Thordarson of the Cedars-Sinai Orthopaedic Center.

It was previously declared that Randle would miss the remainder of the 2014-15 season after suffering a fractured tibia of his right leg in the season opener on October 28.

Randle is expected to make a full recovery.

I was just watching Celtics vs Bucks... Smart's defense is elite right now, this moment. Dante should learn from him how to avoid screens... Look at this beauty:

Are you serious?

Are you serious?

Semi... I realize this is not the ideal way to go through a screen and is probably not even desirable to do it like this since you are losing sight of both your opponent and the ball for a moment, but as a whole I think his ability to fight through screens is exceptional...

Whenever I watch some Timberwolves play I'm always like:

Has there been a precedent for a superstar talent really coasting(And I'm talking Greek government level coasting) a full year of college, getting picked #1 in a supposedly loaded draft nevertheless and follow that up with such a rookie season?
