Jazz are 31-37. Ten games shy of .500.
If they win out and finish 45-37, them make the playoffs if OKC finishes 7-7 (or worse), NO finishes (7-7) and Phoenix finishes 8-5 (or 9-6 depending on if Jazz have the tie-breaker.)
With every Jazz loss, those numbers will increase for what the Jazz need to make up the playoffs. Those three losses after the break loom huge. Had they closed those games out, they'd only be 4 games back of the Thunder and within striking distance of the playoffs, with a playoff caliber lineup to finish out the season.
How does that make the Jazz 10 games under .500? Look like six games under to me.
