2014 College Football

lol

If that happened to anyone in the SEC all we would hear is crying and whining.

The only team behind them that has good enough wins that you could make a solid argument for is Arizona but they lost to UCLA so UCLA earns the spot over them for now and Utah beat UCLA. There were other teams that lost games last week that kept them at 17. For instance Georgia losing by 18 to Florida having previously beaten only 1 team that is still in the rankings, clemson, definitely helped the Utes.

The Utes are also only down a total of 4 points in their losses and no team has scored 30 on them yet. I'm sure that helps. Whatever anyone says about Utah this year they have at least kept themselves "in" every game. I'm excited to see how the D handles Oregon this week.

2 things:

- There's years upon years of case history of SEC schools being coddled in the polls, so yes, people would be bitching about it.

- They dropped in the media and coaches poll. They only stayed the same in the new playoff rankings that are basically ran by a think tank and are in it's second week of existence. We don't now what's "normal" for these rankings. Maybe over the years, we'll see the committee reward teams that have good showings on the road against other highly rated teams.

They also tried another trick play against ASU where the QB puts his hands under the center to take the snap. It's a strange, tricky play that might just work on those plays where they need one yard.

Yes. The craziest one involves the QB receiving the shotgun snap and attempting a forward pass. They've tried it about 6 or 7 times this year and while it has yet to work, it's a-comin.
Lolololololololololol.
Post of the month.

Good job bro

It's weird because Utah does things like kick onside kicks in the middle of the game and go for it on 4th down in weird spots whenever I watch. Just doesn't carry over to general offense scheming at all though. I think you guys have similar personnel to a team like Boise State this year, but they just use it a lot better.

Wait, explain this to me... The qb throws the ball forward? Is that even legal? I haven't seen one of these trick plays in the state of Utah in years. I think Brian Johnson or Sark did it once. It was awesome.

The state of this state's offense... Dreadful...

You'd think that out of the 3 major schools at least 1 would have a QB. It's sort of important to have.
