With the exception of Rose and Duncan, these are reasonable picks![]()
Yeah, Rose wasn't MVP a couple years ago and doesn't appear to be at full health again. SMH.

I have issues with each players personalities....... for basically opposite reasons.
One is a better defensive player and one is a better offensive player.
Both are young and talented and both have good size and length for thier positions.
Favors has a very reasonable contract and i dont know what cousins deal is but if its not a max deal now, then it probably will be soon.
I would rather have favors at 12 million per than cousins at 16/17 million per.
fwiw when i watched team usa yesterday cousins looked like complete garbage and the worst player on team usa

The guy hasn't played real basketball in years! He won the MVP in 2011. You could have picked him with your second round pick. There are still at least 3 excellent players who haven't been picked.
Rose wouldn't have gotten past my picks. I like the pick mr. Hair. He's rusty now, but team USA should get him ready for the season, not to mention training camp is right around the corner.

You would have picked him even with the number of PGs still left on the board? Maybe I'm underestimating his value, but I just don't know how he'll play after all of those injuries and time off. Specially right away.

He has looked healthy and athletic and lightning quick, just rusty, and not in game shap, but team USA will take care of that.
Lol, I can't think of anyone at pg left that is better. You are overthinking things.

I'm prolly the biggest Rose fan on this board. Easily.
But it's unrealistic to expect everybody else to vote for him when he
a) looked bad last year at comeback #1
b) looked bad so far in international play
His athleticism definately took a hit. Just look for his "old" highlights. And his shooting has improved. Not sure it is there where it needs to be for it to compensate for his loss of hops.
"When Healthy" is the big problem in my book. Between Rose's knees, Westbrook's knees and Curry's ankles I wasn't really all that comfortable taking any of them in the top 5. I'd have probably gone with Anthony or Paul.I think Rose was a good pick too.
It was between Rose and Curry for me.
When healthy, Rose is easily a top 5 player. I'd take him over Westbrook and Melo.
He's looked good in the world cup. He looks like he is good to go.
Sit tight.
