2014 NBA Playoffs: 1st Round

Harden looked confused. Lin was really clutch. I bet Harden's going to get fired up for the next one. Refs did not handle the end game very well. But nobody's perfect. They did fine enough.
 
Watching those two teams play demonstrated to me how far we are away from really competing in the playoffs.

We don't have a go to guy like Harden, D Lil, or Lamarcus.

Secondly, we don't have a coach that demands enough. Both those teams spilled their guts out there. I haven't seen a. Jazz team play like that since game 2 of the playoffs @ Denver when we upset the Nugheads.

The playoffs are a different world when compared to the reg season.

agree. we need a beast who can be a go to guy. somebody can get to the rim and get to the line. somebody who can consistently get double teams.

and i'm content with burks being our 6th man. look at all the championship caliber team. they have a legit 6th man who can take it to the rim at will. crawford, manu for ex. last night rockets needed Lin's energy. he came off the bench and add some spark. i always call these guys +- guys. they usually have very good +- because they play against the 2nd unit and provide big spark. Lin at 1 point was +13 when all the starters were -.

and i'm delighted to have trey as our PG. just look at all the games played over the weekend. Half court offense is a must. trey may not give you sexy stat line, but he plays winning style of pg. he controls the pace, doesn't turn the ball over. trey will play critical part of our success.

I feel like the only one who can stop westbrook is westbrook.
He is ungaurdable..... i dont even think he is human athletically.
Imagine if westbrook was a great shooter ala curry

Yeah, Westbrook is simply a freak. Just such a poor player in half-court offense

Agree.

He can be the best and worst player in the game.
I feel like no one can guard him, yet i dont think he should shooy very much lol.

Thay durant shot was sick.


I feel like okc is the best team in the league when they are playing thier best.

Like if miami plays against okc and both teams play thier best i think okc is better. Westbrook just screws up so often it holds them back

Amazing game. And officiated pretty good all things considered.

Btw i liked what i saw from tony allen all game..... normally im a homer for flashy high scoring players but allen has done lots of little things
