Has the idea ever been thrown around to put a time limit on replays? Would that be a good compromise?

i think the officials should never be the ones doing the review.

They have a built in bias (not wanting to be wrong) colleg football does it the right way imo
 
but, tell me:

why was the ball in Westbrook's hands so he could shoot that 3? If the Thunder want to win the championship, they gotta put the ****in ball in Durant's hands in those situations.
 
that was some crazy stuff. wow. so many stupidity all at once. i was bashing KD all game, but he came through. and i was praising chris paul all series and he pulls this.

what's next? 5OT game? hibbert triple double?

Considering the obvious fouls they missed and the fact that this was a Hail Mary that had no chance of going in, it should've been a no call. If he hit his wrist it was well after his release and had no effect on the shot.
 
the biggest missed call was clearly the ball going off of Reggie Jackson with 0:07 to go and OKC being awarded the ball. Reggie Jacksons right hand was on that ball last
 
that doesnt make sense at all^

if that call is made and you assume Reggie Jackson makes both free throws its a tie game and the Clippers have the ball with 6 seconds on the clock
 
Also why the hell did jackson shoot the ball on that controversial play.

He was in a 3 on 1 situation (kinky) with jackson, westbrook, and durant attacking and only barnes back to defend. He had westbrook and durant both open for dunks and he loses the ball out of bounds. (Lucky for him that the refs messed up)

What a bad decision

You know, I remember the days when jazz fans knew how limited a box score was. We all knew John Stockton did so much more than what was captured. We all watched him instigate actions which led to a flaw in the defense, and then watched our system propagate that flaw... picking up easy buckets. If the NBA tracked "hockey assists", Stockton would be the all-time leader. Parker makes his whole machine GO. Lillard isn't having nearly the same impact, and he's mostly helpless when it comes to stopping Parker from doing exactly what he wants.

Before the last game, Portland had led for a total of 33 seconds over the entire series........ so, why should I care very much about Lillard's box score?

Paker controlled the flow while fialing to stop Lillard. G odd for him. That's why he is a top 5 PG (arguabley top 3). Lillard is a a sophmore who has shown the hell up and is making a name for himself right now.

You don't agree and that's fine. But the stats show he is fine.

Lillard is probably the worst defender still playing basketball.

im really not that guy to call out the refs either (and i bet on these games..), but in this particular game i think the evidence is compelling.

it stands to reason the NBA does not want Sterling to dominate the headlines for the entire playoffs, as long as the Clippers are alive thats whats going to happen

I thought we were discussing the article you linked more than your position. If they are the same then fine.

My point is that Lillard is producing in the second round against Tony fricken Parker. Seems to disagree with the tone of the article you linked. Simple point that isn't really that worthy of arguing.

I need some time out from your hypocrisy. Damn it's mind numbing sometimes.

When the Jefferson-led Jazz played the elite teams, didn't Jefferson usually get his stats? Lillard's box scores are misleading.

But, really, I can't believe I'm carrying on with you when you haven't even watched the games. You've done a (excellent?) job sounding like you know what the **** you're talking about.
