Richmond was of paramount importance. He could lope into the lane and finish with a finger roll, his post-up game as a guard was only equaled by Jordan and former teammate Tim Hardaway. He shot over 40 percent from behind the arc even before the NBA moved in the 3-point line in 1994, and all of this work was done on a team that boasted no second options. The Kings were terrible, from 1991-98, making the playoffs only once and never giving Richmond the supporting cast he deserved.

One of the most underrated players. It's the cost of being on an underachieving team.

Those king teams weren't underachievers. Mitch had no help on those teams. He was always one of the premier guards in the 90s. Who played on bad teams after he was traded from GS

Wilt Chamberlain

This is a team built on playmaking shooting and athletic ability with a new era NBA flare.

Wilt is a mismatch for most centers and an unstoppable force. Durant must be double teamed to stop him and as a stretch 4 impossible for most 4's in this competition to guard on the perimeter. Durant Richmond and West are all great floor spacers and long range shooters. They don't call Worthy big game James for nothing. He was even better in playoffs and big games this tournament would be no different. James was a powerful athletic sf who was an unstoppable freight train on the Fastbreak.

Love my team so far.

This team can play any style. A power game with Wilt and James. Uptempo. Wilt was not only big and powerful but an athletic freak. Imagine Jerry west on the break with worthy and Kevin Durrant on either side with Will Chamberlain bringing up the rear. Just dangerous this would be a tough team to double anywhere.

I have

Steve Nash
Kobe Bryant / Allen Iverson
Kawhi Leonard
Karl Malone
Moses Malone

An elite team offensively and defensively. They are a threat inside and out. They extremely tough and highly intelligent. They possess great play-makers, shooters, post players, slasher, and everything in between. Allen Iverson is a force to recon with as a 6th man and an anchor to the second unit. It is truly a perfect team!

I actually really liked your team until you picked Leonard.

Nothing wrong with Leonard. A versatile player who is an elite defender and a very capable outside shooter. He isn't a very high usage player and fits perfectly alongside Malone and Kobe, who will demand the ball a lot more, while providing the team with perimeter defense and spacing. It's a good pick.

I agree. I'm not as high on the Nash/Kobe/Iverson backcourt, but I think Leonard was a good pick. It's nice to have an elite-level defender come in and be able to cover the perimeter offensive studs.

It's Nash/Kobe/Leonard backcourt. Iverson is on the second unit! :)

What don't you like about it? Nash is perfect for the role as he is mostly a facilitator and a world-class 3pt shooter. Leonard is an elite defender and an opportunistic scorer. This leaves Kobe to do with he does best; be an offensive focus. Iverson is quite the addition to the bench. How many benches can contend with one of the greatest offensive players of all time?

You reached, imo. One reason Ellis lost last year was because Leonard was his sixth man and you have him starting. No all-star games no awards besides DPOY and two all-defensive teams. He does have a Finals MVP, but so does Iguodala.

Key word there is come in. In an all-time draft, dude isn't a starter. He should have went 30-35 picks later.

I'm just giving you a hard time because you give me one, lol.

I will say one thing, I do love Durant at the 4.

Judging the player by number of all-star appearances is a lousy way of analyzing the situation. I guess we'll see what the voters think.

I just told you, they didn't like him as sixth man and that was after he just won Finals MVP.

Ya. Last year I picked him intending to use him at the 4 till I drafted Anthony Davis, then decided to start him at the 4. So I wanted to draft him again. Reason I rated for your second rounder. No chance any of these bigger 4's can guard him. My team is money so far.
