My team there is actually clear roles that players actually occupy in real life and are successful in.

Cool. My team as well. Carmelo is the #1 option just like real life, Thompson is the #2 option just like real life, Randolph is used to being the #2 or #3 option, Chandler is the #5 option just like real life and Lowry would be perfectly fine being the #4 option. He never used to be ball dominant until these past two years and that's because their coach gave him the reigns. His earlier years in Houston and first years in Toronto he wasn't looking to score nearly as much as he is now. Hell, he still averaged over 7 assists this year.
Lol
You have a ball dominant Melo who occupies similar space to Randolph.
You have Thompson who is going to have to find his own shot a lot more since he won't have Melo setting him up and Lowry is going to be chucking shots when he actually gets teh ball from Melo.
My team would wipe the floor with yours. No contest. 4 game sweep.
You're team is trash. You had the potential to have a really good team, but taking Hood at 56 hampered that. Not the biggest George Hill fan either. Should have took Tony Parker at 56 and and 65 you could have had your choice of who you wanted to round out your lineup. Hell, Hood would still have been there.
George Hill is leagues better than Lowry.
Hood is a monster. He is going to dominate this upcoming year. He is a perfect fit offensively alongside Harden.
I love Cy's team.
You're team would struggle to score. Hood, Draymond, and Whiteside combined for 32.2 PPG last year. Playing with just Harden isn't going to change that. Draymond got a ton of open looks playing with Curry and Thompson and you're getting the Hood that is going to be coming off the bench next year.
Only weaknesses to my team: Rebounding and Scoring.
I don't even think it's that big of a weakness though since Whiteside is kind of a monster on the glass.
I bet Hood starts this year. Burks isn't even playing 5 on 5 yet. He is going to be rusty and the team needs to get off to a good start.
Fixed it for you. You have a bench player starting and a dude who got a ton of open looks playing next to the splash bros.
Burks is going to start. And yes I'm ****ing serious. Draymond Green scored a ton because of the splash bros, playing with Harden isn't going to enhance his stats.
Didn't Cy take hill last year?
