2015 Annual JazzFanz Current Players Draft

Ah that's cool bro. But like what do you want to do after you graduate? Do you want to like work in the movie industry? Or do you want to like write film reviews? Or may be teach Film/English at the local college?

Any thoughts about what you want to do yet?

I'd be good with any of those things. I'll get my BA in film next month and then probably work as a film editor (all kinds of companies need them) while I also work on other projects.

Long term, I'll probably pursue a PhD and a career as a professor.

If the Jazz hold teams to lower 90 points per game on average we will make the playoffs, and probably win a series or two. And holding teams to that low of scoring will be because of Gobert. Which should make him a top 10 player in this league.

They aren't going to hold teams to lower 90 on a regular basis unless Quin decides to slow down pace of the offense like he did for most of the second half. Then last few weeks the pace of play sped way up and several teams scored over 100, and mid to upper 90's

Sounds good man, looks like you're all sorted ... that's really good to see :)

Also while Gobert is a big reason for the good defense. The Jazz got a boost from Exum and Favors was better when he didn't have to cover Kanter's ***. Also Millsap brought it on defense as well

I didn't say lower than, I said lower 90 points. As in, the lower 90's

Dat reading comprehension doe.

Maybe that's what's wrong with you.

Jazz were sitting players at the end there. I suspect with a whole offseason and a stable roster, that Jazz will be even BETTER on defense next year. Teams aren't going to really gameplan heavily for us until we start looking like a playoff team, so there are going to be some straight up defense muggings with teams wondering what happened. . .

Yep because I accidently mistyped. Meant to type what's up now

Well. Either way. You are wrong.

The Jazz will hold teams to a league low like they did after the Allstar break. I think what we saw was real. It wasn't a fluke.

We are gonna **** teams up this year.

I never said they'd be bad. They will be very good but I think Quin plans on playing a fast pace which will allow the other team more possessions. It will be hard to hold teams that low over 82 games playing at a very fast pace

Whatever the number is, the Jazz will be one of the best if not THEE best team at opponents points scored against.

That's going to translate to wins.

I still think we are at least a year away from dramatically upping the pace of the game. We turn the ball over too damn much to step on the gas.

Adding Burks is going to help our d as well, I've always thought was his best asset

Totally disagree. I don't know where that came from. I've never thought he was a good defender.

That might change, especially since he can play different defense with Gobert behind him. But I don't think he's shown to be a good defender at all. It's what I don't like about him.

I only go on what I've seen. What I saw is the Jazz speed up pace of play the last few weeks. I suspect Quin wants to play much faster then what they did most of the second half.

I don't think it's about playing as fast as you can. It's about getting an open look before the defense can get set up. We will take as much time as needed until getting a good look is achieved. It doesn't do you any good to just rush shots just for the sake of playing fast. It's about getting your opponent off balance. That's gonna take a little bit of time everytime. I doubt that we play at a crazy pace.
