2015 Annual JazzFanz Current Players Draft

Westbrook can't carry a team though, if you go back and look at all of his triple double games he lost most of them, his stats don't translate to wins. Fun to watch though

Did you look at that team without Durant? They sucked.

There's only one man who can carry a crappy team, and even he can barely do that, and that's Bron.

They're not a crappy team without Durant, Westy is a ball hog and doesn't look to facilitate teammates which may work out for this format, I won't hold it against whoever drafted Westbrook in the voting if they build around him fittingly

Really. Because he was racking up the assists. Also with both out the thunder were one of the worst teams not just in the west. Westbrook had them one game from the playoffs. He's the closest thing to LBJ there is. Not many players that miss as much time as westy did can be in the conversation for MVP of the league

My quick take on Westbrook- He put up huge volume down the stretch without KD/Ibaka and did his best Lebron impression. But he wasn't super efficient doing it (shooting just ok and extremely high turnovers), so I don't think he can/should be that same 30/10/10 player in a better situation. OKC is a team built around KD, so it'll be interesting to imagine what a team really built around Westbrook would look like. Overall great value at #9.

LBJ always has a high volume of turnovers. Also who else was going to shoot it on that team?

Sucks to say but I think Westbrook will always be hampered by injuries just because he plays so hard, he's always involved in collisions, jump into crowds of guys driving the lane, etc

I was even considering if I would take Leonard at 15 or 16 if he was there, it will depend on who you put around him, but I believe that is a reach.

Thing about Leonard is I think the Spurs offense made him look better then what he would on other teams. Away from the Spurs I'm not sure he's a top scoring option.

I think that was the right thing for Westbrook to do in that situation, but I don't think drafting him for this competition and asking him to do something similar is the best idea ya know?

I'd prefer to not to be PMd when my turns are up, feel free to contact about trades but I'll be aware of when my picks are up
