This is why I hesitated on picking him. I figured people would be split on it.

Don't get me wrong, I was hesitant too. But at the end of the day, he's who I would honestly pick if we were really constructing teams. He's already splashed back onto the NBA scene. The outlook on his career is much higher than it was a year ago.

This was essentially my last chance to get a star, and you need a good amount of star power to win in the NBA.

In a playoff series, he proved that he's still more valuable than anyone left on the board.

I debated some safer options, but yeah, I needed to swing for the fences to have a chance at winning this thing. He was well worth the risk as low as I took him.
