Well guys since we're nearly the end of the draft... should we talk about the elimination process? As you know there are 15 teams so if you lose the 1st round, that's it for you, no 2nd chance. Ellis gets a free pass.


I'm trying to think of a way of giving at least the team (or teams) that lost by the narrowest margin a 2nd chance?


What do you guys think?

Ok so how about the team that lost with the smallest margin go up against Ellis who's supposed to have a bye for the final spot?

That team should be the 8th worst in theory so it should still be a significant advantage for Ellis.

No you will have 7 winners from first round plus whoever wins in that ELLIS match for the 8th spot.

I like the fact that Ellis competes in the first round instead of getting through automatically.

Yeah plus he's still getting a really good deal going up against a team that had already lost once... so it wont be against a top team.. so his win in the All Time Draft still counts for something.

You wanted a PF. I would do Diaw for Carroll. Diaw became a huge difference maker for the spurs when they won the title.

Just put all the teams in a draft simulator, the team who gets the first pick gets the bye. Makes more sense to me.

The team who wins by the smallest margin plays Ellis on the second round. The team who won by the second smallest margin plays the team who won by the biggest margin in the second round. And so on.
