2015 NBA Free Agency

This **** is out of control.

I don't care how much the cap is going up. I'm not signing some of these players to these contracts.

This might be the most correct thing you've ever written on these forums.

You should go the extra bit toward full honesty and admit to yourself, in the mirror, that you aren't signing any of these players. And that you work for Walmart.

amen to that. no way in hell we should break a bank for a stop gappers. unless we are signing a legitimate all star, just keep breeding young guns and make gobert happy

ESPN sources say Raptors and Mavs still locked in battle for Wes Matthews. Yes: Raps still want him after striking deal with DeMarre Carroll

The Warriors have agreed to terms on a five-year, $85 million deal with their free agent forward Draymond Green, a source told Yahoo.

Sacramento trying to do what exactly?

The Kings traded forwards Carl Landry and Jason Thompson and 2014 No. 8 overall draft pick Nik Stauskas to the 76ers for the rights to overseas players and a future second-round draft pick, sources said. The Kings will send the Sixers a protected future first-round draft pick as part of the deal, league sources told Yahoo Sports.

Sixers add two more big men, and Sacramento gets cap space?

Sacramento continues to be worst run franchise in history. They trade 2 PFs, Stauskas, and multiple first round picks to clear cap space. Not sure what foreign players they get, but most will probably never come over. More so the free agents they are going for don't fit their team. Monta and Rondo already proved they can't play together in Dallas and probably neither would play well with Cousins and Gay. I hope Matthews goes elsewhere for his sake. I wish the Jazz had the space and assets to do that deal with Sac.

They gave up two proven NBA players on reasonable contracts, a young prospect and a future pick for cap space in the summer before the cap explodes.

WTF?

Amir Johnson 12 million dollars per year?

If this is how bloated contracts are going to be this year, I don't even want to think about next year.

Jazz should go out and max Tobias Harris pronto.

I mean, I like A.Johnson, but god damn.

It's insane! It's like get a manager to yourself and get yourself a few million bucks of deal in this insanity.

Get use to the contracts. This is the new NBA until the next CBA.

Will that cut the tax income of the government or vice versa? It can make them avoid luxury tax more. But at the same time the market price for an average player rises too so some contenders will go past to pay the luxury tax and the gov will earn more right?

I know this is a general discussion kind of comment, but how many of you are seeing a 20-50% jump in salary or wages?

Is anyone even getting a cost of living increase that keeps pace with inflation?

It is about the television dollars. Broadcast television is dying and live sports is the last card they have to play. That will make acquiring the rights to these events and leagues even more important and expensive.
