I remember seeing Brad Stevens emphasizing 'physicality' when he's mic'd up in the huddles...


I don't think Olynyk is a dirty player but I think in this series Stevens made the whole team believe that the only way they were going to beat the Cavs is to be more physical and 'roughing them up a bit' seems to be a part of that MO.
 
...whether it was intentional or not, it's a classic example of why I was never much for battling for "loose" balls in a basketball game! You do something like that and it increases your chances of getting hurt by a factor of 10! Better to let the ball go (who's to say the other team scores even if they do get possession of the ball?) than end up on injured reserved because some other maniac had the same idea in mind! You have to pick your spots, stay healthy and stay on the court! You play with reckless abandon and eventually it will catch up with you!

Holy ****! Deron is looking good! I hope this proves a turning point for him. I've always felt bad about his fall.

DWill looked great for that stretch of the 4th quarter. Couldn't miss. Hawks look bored... it's weird.
