While I agree it's the easiest game to take for an underdog in a series, I highly doubt blowouts usually happen.

You are right. It's not a lock. But it happens a lot. It's a huge swing in emotion and energy.

Sometimes a loss is just a loss even if it's a blowout. It's just gets away from you sometimes and the ball doesn't bounce your way.

What I'm saying is, I wouldn't read too much into the blowout. If they do it again, then there is something there.

I really hope that the Pelicans don't win this series though, a good series yes, but I want Golden State in the finals. I wanna see as much of Steph Curry in the playoffs as much as possible.

I think its because of how they came about:

They tanked. Lots of teams tank, they lucked out that Duncan was the prize and not Bennett or Olawakandi.
They then found two key players late in the draft. Lots of teams pick late and never find players like Ginobili and Parker.
They sit their stars.
They foul bad FT shooters in the first quarter.

It's all the type of stuff that you wish you could have as a fan, but they did it.

It's jealousy.

It's the same reason Tom Brady is hated. Jealousy.

No, it's pretty much just because I'm tired of seeing the same teams/players in the finals.

The best championship team in recent memory was Dallas because it was a new group to win it.
