You have to hand it to the Spurs. They are a well-run organization and have been for 20 years. Just when you think they don't have the talent to compete, they go HAM and blow out contending teams.

Anyone who was counting th out was dumb. They are the defending Champs and have been doing this year in and year out. You can't count this team out until the main pieces retire.

IMO, he has quickly passed KD for #2 SF behind King James. Unlike KD, Kawhi plays lockdown defense and isn't a moody whiny lil bitch. Dude just balls out. That alley oop dunk was one of the sickest plays I've seen in a long time.

Anyone who doesn't enjoy the Spurs is a dumbass.
The way they play both sides of the court is basketball purity that I haven't seen before. Tim Duncan was their low post slow it down half court offense in game 2. They needed him as baskets were tough, the game was slow, and SA's perimeter players struggled. In game 3 he was the rebounder/blocker/passer the Spurs needed to keep the offensive flow going. The Spurs 3 point shooters finally woke up.
If they need to, they can dump it down low to the ageless wonder. If they need to, they can bomb away from 3 point land ala Houston or GS. They can play at any speed. They move the ball around for everyone to score and on defense everyone gives up their own body to sacrifice for the team.
I guess some people want a "new name" to win. For me, I want the team that plays the best bball to win. And that's clearly the Spurs. Until they stop playing this style I hope they keep winning.
Compare the way they play to LA or Cleveland, where only 2-3 players ever score.
Even Kawhi after the game said that, "his teammates did a good job of getting him open looks."

So, just because SA plays good basketball I can't not like them? I don't like them. Never have. Never will. I don't care how they play basketball.
I'll always hate Kentucky. I'll always hate the Lakers. Those showtime teams were incredible. I hate them. Same with Aikman, Smith and Irving's Cowboys. Hate em. Great football, hate em.

The Bucks/Bulls series is all about defensive length. That's one of the Jazz's strengths too, except we have Gobert at center instead of Zaza Pachulia.

And Spurs. A bunch of people predicted the first round results correctly (if they hold up). Second round should be more interesting.
