2015 NBA Playoffs

Memphis has to get ahead early and slow it down. If Draymond Green continues to hit 3's, Grizz have no chance.

Green hitting four 3s is ridiculous.

Did anyone watch the game? Did Memphis just not have anyone who could guard Green on the perimeter?

You talking about Curry? Well, he hasn't faced the pressure Paul faced against the Spurs, in a game 7 in which he had a hamstring injury. You ever get a hamstring injury? It's very difficult to run, let alone run fast or make quick moves. Sure, Curry has the flash and dash, but I want to see how he does under real pressure. Not to say anything about being hurt as well. C'mon, give Paul credit. That was a game that puts him up there with Stockton and Isaiah.

Oh, and I saw a comment from Eddie Johnson a couple of months back, comparing AI and Paul, and saying AI was better. What a doufus. I wrote him, as much.

And I'm no CP3 homer, I was rooting for the Spurs.

It was the biggest game and shot of Paul's career. No one is trying to take away from it.

But Curry in that game (and that final shot) was epic, too. Wasn't it a top 5 4th quarter come back in playoff history? Curry leading a charge like that is nothing to brush off, but yeah, I agree Paul's game was under even greater pressure, for sure.

Would still take Curry over Paul though. It'll be fun to watch if they meet in the Conference Finals.

They were doubling/trapping curry on all picks and he was making good passes. Plus they were late on the rotations.

They basically made a conscious decision to let draymond get open looks, thinking that they can't stop everything and have to pick their poison. (They interviewed the grizzlies coach and asked him about draymond hurting them. He said "we have to give up something and that was what we chose")

Warriors are SO hard to defend. Barnes had it going offensively early too. Memphis was doing a good job defending curry and Thompson early on but all the other warriors made up the production that curry and Thompson normally would produce.

Really tough choice for me, if we are choosing between curry now and Paul at stephs current age.

Not only that, but the competition Paul faced was far better. There is no doubt that Paul is the better floor general and Curry, just a sensational shooter (maybe the best ever). The thing is that if they do meet in the conference finals, Paul may still not be 100 percent. Hamstrings take a long time to heal, and even so, I think Paul has lost half step or so from a few years ago.

The gap between the Warriors and the rest of the league is pretty big. They are dominant favorites, and will probably win the championship with little resistance. I thought the Spurs were the only team that could push them, and the Spurs are gone.

I concur with your assessment 100%....except putting Paul up there with Stockton! With another 10 years of solid point guard play.....you might put him up there! But he did have one heck of a game Saturday night! I'm still trying to figure out how he could do what he did with that pulled hammy! I've never had one....and I know I got a hammy! Never heard of the old guys like Stockton and those before him pulling hammies! Must be these young guys work out too much and have all there hammies tighter than a rubber band or something? Anyway, like you, I was pulling for the Spurs, but have to give credit where credit is due! Barnes, that despicable piece of trash, also had a great game! My question is this: if Paul could play...and play VERY WELL....on Saturday, why is he now questionable for Monday's game? Whatever they shot him up with on Saturday.....shoot him up with it again on Monday!

Warriors are 44-0 when holding the opponent under 100 points.

They haven't lost at home since January (and have home court in every series).

Only way I see Grizz winning is if:

1. Conley comes back by game 3 and plays like he did vs. Portland
2. Jeff Green stops sucking and gives good minutes at the 4 vs Green.

With the exception of the Spurs and Clipps... this playoff has sucked big time. The EC is unwatchable and the WC hasn't been competitive.

Can we just hand the trophy to the Warriors and begin the draft already? Without Love, Cleveland doesn't stand a chance against GS in the Finals.

....everything you said is true....but let's not hand GS the trophy yet! I want to see Lebron dismantled bit by bit, piece by piece! I would love to see a 4 game sweep of the Cavs, if they even get to the finals, to pair with the 5 game beat down Lebron got from the Spurs last year!

Way to completely dismiss the Bulls. They will beat Cleveland sans Love.

I am mad the Spurs lost. Not a Clippers fan.

Only bandwagon tools are Clippers fans.

As much as I hate plenty of other franchises, at least they all have an actual, devoted fan base. True Clipper fans have to be the rarest in all of professional sports because not even people from LA grew up with any kind of affection for the team. I'd rather see any other fan base get a Championship.
