2015 NBA Playoffs

Cleveland still has the best player on the planet, and Irving may still play. Far from over.

...it's OVER! First of all, Irving is NOT coming back! Secondly, even if he did it would be like putting a cripple out there that would be exploited like a bloody fish in shark infested waters! And finally, Lebron is not going to score 44 points again in this series, especially if they put Iguodala on him a little bit more! Warriors did not really play all that well. I suspect they will play better in game 2!

Is the tweet real? Why is the Warrior's doctor, who apparently can't diagnose a concussion for one of his own players, diagnosing the other team's players?

...it was a joke, satire, taking a shot at the pathetic team doctors that masquerade as professionals! But then, you knew that, right?

If Lebron had a healthy Love and Irving would this even be a contest?
Yes. I think the Cavs would be favored at that point (maybe) but it would be close. Love never really did fully fit in with the team. Lebron had a great game and the Cavs still lost. He won't always hit that many jumpers. The Warriors didn't look like they played nearly their best game and still won.

warriors would still be the favorite to win it all. it's not the starters that decides this series. it's the bench. warriors' deep bench wears team out. cavs' shaky bench forces starters to play too many minutes. i would've picked warriors in 7 if both teams were 100%.

i still take cavs in 5

...heroin, crack, or marijuana? Maybe all 3? Perhaps Wild Turkey 101 by the gallons? If the Cavs go on to win this series in 5 games, meaning they would have to win the next 4 in a row....it would be the biggest upset in basketball history! Maybe if the plane carrying the Warriors to Cleveland was hijacked to Cuba....and they had to forfeit the series?

Yes of course.
Golden state are no slouches. Best offense, and best defense in nba.
Mvp of the league.
They won 67 games in the west for God's sake.
They have home court advantage (I think they won like 40 of 41 games at home I regular season)

I think lebron lost in the finals twice before with a better big 3/supporting cast against teams with worse regular season and worse playoffs records than the warriors.

The warriors are really really good. Not only would it still be a series if lebron had love and irving but I would also still put money on the warriors. (I bet on them when irving was still healthy)

Could you imagine if we had played a Bulls team without Kukoc/Rodman and Pippen?

I always thought Golden State was the best team in these playoffs. But boy, have they had a lot of help with all the injuries to other teams. And have they had luck not having injuries. Shouldn't Bogut, Lee, Green, or Curry have broken down by now?

Not that I don't think the Warriors will win, but the Cavs should've won the first game. They outplayed the Warriors. The last shot LeBron took was not a good one. They should've drawn up a play for an open shot, or LeBron should've just taken it to the basket instead of that poor percentage, whimpy fall away turnaround.

But but but... A few posters on this board were creaming themselves over Blatt!

The dude sucks at coaching

Take Pippen and Rodman off those teams, Jazz sweep.

.....take Pippen off those teams....and the Jazz SWEEP! He was the one that really killed us when Phil Jackson finally woke up and put him on Stockton, which made it much more difficult for him to keep the Jazz offense running smoothly! Any way, we still should have won that second finals match up if Bevetta hadn't hosed us so badly!

....yeah, it's called "should'a, would'a and could'a!" Fact is, Lebron had a FABULOUS game that he will be hard pressed to duplicate in this series, and they still lost! Warriors could easily sweep, now that Irving is out for good.
