This is going to be close.
If the Jazz get to 51 wins, the 4th seed is very likely.
If the Jazz get to 50 wins, the 4th seed is likely.
If the Jazz get to 49 wins, the 5th seed is likely.
If the Jazz get to 48 wins, the 6th seed becomes likely.
Jazz need to beat Minnesota, beat Portland, and either win in Portland or at home against San Antonio.

Clippers still play San Antonio, Houston and Dallas, which could be losses. The Clippers bench is even thinner now that Austin Rivers is out.

I could see GS rest their key guys, but I would think they'll want to give KD a little burn before the end of the season (if healthy) so he doesn't come into the playoffs rusty. Just our luck it'd be his first game back and he'll score 15 in the 1st quarter

Just looked at some schedules:
Clips play 4 games, We play 5, SA plays 7! Hopefully that means they rest guys a lot!
One of the 2 tough games for the Clips is the spurs on the 4th game of a 4 games in 5 nights, so that would be the most logical game for the spurs to rest unfortunately.
The Jazz need to be more strategic and focus on being as healthy and fresh for the playoffs as possible. I wouldn't let Joe Johnson travel at this point and would limit Hayward and Gobert's minutes.
We have 6 more games.
Not sure what math has to do with anything, but we have 6 games left. Two against SA, two against Portland, once against GSW, and once against Wolves.

Jazz need any combination of Jazz wins and Clipper losses to equal 5 to get HCA.

Jazz won't win anything in the playoffs if they can't win a game starting at 1pm.
Jazz have to win out to guarantee home-court. I think the Clippers lose at lest 1 more game though, so I think we afford to drop one more. These next 3 games are huge as we should be favored in all 3. Then we just have to hope for great performances from the Jazz or hope for mass rest of star players from Warriors/Spurs.
