2016-17 Hype Train Playoff Chase!!!

I don't think that one particular play says that Burks can't handle that situation going forward or that mack will handle that situation flawlessly going forward.

I'm going off of watching Burks his entire career, dude. His handle simply isn't solid enough for late game situations, especially when guarded by other good opposing guards. His *** will get stripped *clean*. I trust Exum more, 110%.

Fair enough.
Quin apparently has seen enough of burks in games and in practice to think burks would be ok in that situation.

I did think quin coached like crap last night though so what does he know

I trust neither. Only two players I trust to bring the ball up against pressure are Neto and Hill. Everyone else has suspect handle under pressure.

Quin should have yanked himself off the bench for his dodgy decisions ..

we're missing hood.

Boston was missing Crowder and Bradley. Practically no team is ever 100% healthy for long stretches. The Jazz are currently around the same level as second tier teams like HOU, LAC, MEM, BOS, and TOR. Even when fully healthy. No need to overreact every time we win a couple of games or lose a couple.

Man, if they played Crowder/Bradley we might have had a better chance. Gerald Green went off and he doesnt play much with those dudes in.

And missing Hood was huge this game. They were able to hide Thomas on Ingles since Ingles cant really take advantage of mismatches. With Hood in then Thomas has to guard someone.

After the last two losses, I've definitely given up on the third seed.

Me too.

After we won those first two road games I thought it was time for lift off. Our monster run was coming.

Then the last two games put reality back in place.

We still are a work in progress. Hopefully we put it together by playoff time.

Tonight's games:

Spurs @ Pacers
Grizzlies @ Nets
Thunder @ Wizards
Clippers @ Jazz
Warriors @ Nuggets
Celtics @ Mavs
Pelicans @ Suns
Hawks @ Blazers

For everyone mad about a 2 game losing streak. Spurs just lost to the Knicks last night. Crap happens. Jazz are still the 4th seed and have a chance to extend that lead to 1.5 games tonight.

Jazz need to show up pissed off and crush the Clips.

come on jazz. win this big game tonight.

The Jazz effort against Boston and LA has been shameful. They play like that in the playoffs it'll be 4 and out.

Jazz may be facing GS in the FIRST round. Sure wish we were a young, exciting team like the Nuggets. On the bright side, DL will either be forced to make a trade or acknowledge the rebuild has been a failure. KOC's strategy of retooling would have resulted in a lineup of Hayward, Millsap, Gobert, DMC and Hill or a different vet PG. We would have made the playoffs every year. We would not have Exum. And we wouldn't have been able to trade up for Burke (no extra pick). Jazz would have still been able to get Gobert and Hood with their own picks.

Retool>>>a half-*** rebuild in which you waste all your lottery picks.

Hello friends. What we see here is called 'overreaction'.

Awful week for the Jazz. I can't wait for the all-star break so we can take a breath and regroup.

Step away from the ledge...

So if the Jazz can somehow not **** the bed in the next 2 games again LAC, and they by chance end the regular season tied overall and tie the season series, what determines that tie breaker?

After the Atlanta and New Orleans blow out wins I was telling everyone we had arrived. Now I have to lay low until we win again.

I'd take this squad over the Nuggets 15 times out of 10. It is not even comparable.

Also I have when our wasted lottery picks make the all star team.
