I think every injury is treatable by rest. It was really a bold statement by Stifle.
A lot of injuries require surgery. I answered a question. The point being, there's really no "cure." It's not something that can be fixed with a scope and 4 weeks later he'll be 100%. Or like a torn ACL that's going to cost him a year. Favs will be dealing with this the rest of the season and maybe the rest of his career.

Everything takes rest to heal. You dont just have surgery and you are miraculously healed. And even after you sat out the allotted time before you can come back, you arent full healthy, you have to work to get back to shape and get use to playing. We really dont know enough about w/e Favors has to say anything definitive. He has gotten better gradually this season though. I dont see it as some lost hope like you obviously do. And I imagine the Jazz dont either or they would have traded him.

That's obvious, Cy, that you need post-op time to recover. Favs hasn't gotten much better gradually. He's had 3-4 very good games, then regresses. Look at his 20-10 game against Atlanta. He's followed that up by squat.

We'll see if the same pattern follows. He's rested, the knee should be feeling better. But as he runs and puts stress on it, the weakness will return. It's an overuse injury.

I used to be a cross-country runner. I've dealt with over use injuries.

Wait, you are using his statistical output to measure his physical improvement? How much of a fallacy is that?

Last night's games:

Clippers lost!!! As did the Nuggets and Pelicans.

Warriors, Kings, Rockets and Blazers won.

The Clippers loss ties them with Utah for 4th. They hold the tie breaker though.

Tonight's games:

Grizzlies @ Pacers
Suns @ Bulls
Jazz @ Bucks
Lakers @ Thunder (Double L?)
Mavs @ Wolves (eh, Wolves?)
Nets @ Nuggets
Spurs @ Clippers

The Jazz could have a 1 game lead in 4th after tonight if the bolded teams win. OP updated/

Pacers won, Bulls won, Jazz won, and Spurs are winning. Nice.

Good question. I was just going off of Stoked 's bolded teams without really thinking about them. Not sure why he indicated that game.

The Suns play in the WC and anytime a WC team plays an EC team we want the EC team to win.

Why do the Bulls matter to us?

False. You should want crappy WC to beat EC teams. You want ball and fultz in the WC?

My thinking was this. Suns are a legit chance to stop the formation of a super team in a Boston. Suns are challenging the Nets for the #1 pick. Boston owns the Nets pick.
