2016-17 Hype Train Playoff Chase!!!

The game Saturday should be crazy intense.

This will be the biggest game since the last game against the Clips.

I don't want to predict this, but I have a feeling Jazzfanz will be frustrated with the officiating for Saturday's game. They'll be at home.

**** got chippy last time. I think **** is gonna get chippy very early this time.

Clippers with 3 TOs and 3 misses in the final 2 minutes of the game.

Westbrook and the Thunder are playing well these days. In the past I would have said I'd prefer to play the Thunder than the Clips, but now I'm not so sure. The Clips rely almost entirely on their 3 main guys, and if one of them has a bad game, they most often lose.
Thunder rely almost entirely on 1 guy and if he has a bad game they most often lose.

The Clips lost to the Mavs! They keep dropping games they should be winning! This puts them 1.5 down on the Jazz headind into the biggest game of the season this Saturday.

The Grizzlies and Suns also lost.

Spurs, Blazers and Mavs won.

Tonight's games:

Suns @ Celtics
Nuggets @ Pacers
Pelicans @ Rockets
T-wolves @ Lakers
Kings @ Warriors

Someone needs to make a legit game thread right now. We need to start getting hyped y'all! This game is "YUGE" for the race for 4th.

Biggest game of the season so far!

I'm already getting angry just thinking about the Clips game. If we end up in a series with them all things considered (flopping, CP3, Blake, some Crawford ********, ref whining, etc.) it will be so damn hostile.

One of the most bigly games of the season for the Jazz

If the Jazz win this one, the race against the Clippers would be virtually over. The Jazz would be up by 3 games in the loss column, and the Clips will only have 8 games remaining after this one, while the Jazz have 9 more games. Even if the Jazz finished their last 9 games by going 4-5, the Clips would have to go 7-1 in order to tie the Jazz. They'd need to go 8-0 to go a full game ahead. The Clips still have games remaining against Houston, San Antonio and Washington.

But even if the Clippers beat the Jazz, the Jazz would just need to match the Clippers win for win to finish the season in order to stay a game ahead. So it's not the end of the world.

The other thing is that beating the Clips keeps them in a dead heat against the Thunder for the 5th seed.

my thoughts exactly....

the amount of moaning, crying, and flopping will make this game or series absolutely wretched to watch.

I was proud of the Jazz during the last Clippers game, in that the Clippers were obviously trying to get into their heads down the stretch and it totally backfired on them.
