Worst commentary team are the Rockets TV crew, which includes Drexler.

I turned the sound off when watching it earlier. Some comments were blatant lies! At one point (due to their anger over an Adams 'cheap shot' pick on Beverly) it was stated that Adams had scored after being about 6 seconds in the lane. He wasn't even in there for 3!!!

Just cheerleading at its worst.

Everyone who whinges about Boler and even Matt should have a listen to these Rockets' guys.

Actually makes me hate the Rockets more.


But the old Celtics duo weren't much better with the Bulls game today as well.
Maybe they should just ban the franchise announcers from the start of the playoffs.

I rank Celtics as the worst, then Houston second worst. Those 2 are by far the worst. So bias. So loud and angry. So impartial and unprofessional.
 
So what are the chances that Snyder throws the Clippers a wild pitch that they are just not ready for in game 2 and takes the Jazz to 2-0 going into Utah?

Like Gobert coming back, a starting lineup of Favors/JJ/Ingles/Hill/Hayward or I don't even know what.

I am just pumped and I think Snyder will play lose and aggressive. The mad scientist has only begun to humiliate and crush the soul of the Doc and the Clippers.

Jazz win game 2 104-98!
 
I actually wouldn't be surprised at anything he does. I could see him start with either Favors or Withey at center and Diaw at PF. Hoping to see a little of Bolomboy with Gobert ruled out as well.

As of right now Gobert is not ruled out. His status is unknown. I'd be stunned if he plays but he is not ruled out. Not yet anyways.
 
I'm over Kanter, but it was kind of funny last night after Kanter got burned on defense leading to a Capella dunk, coach Donovan turned to his assistant and said "we can't play Kanter." Sure enough, Kanter was -10 in 16 minutes last night.

In retrospect, we ought to thank Kanter for being a douche, which accelerated our getting rid of him and Gobert's rise.

I also think Kanter would have been cancer for our group. Not to mention expensive.

I wish we had got more for him but I'm glad he is gone. I also care a lot less about his career now and have mostly moved on. I think he has grown up a lot in OKC. I hope Lyle's grows up sooner than later. I hope we don't have to dump him just to watch him mature and learn how he has to work hard to make it in the NBA for another team.

I am not ready to give up on Lyles yet either. I still have hopes for him, although he has made it harder to be optimistic with his horrible play this year. Dude can't make a basket to save his life.

I think all the comparisons with him and Booker are a bit unfair. If Lyles was given the green light to shoot 20+ times per game without consequences, I'm pretty certain his numbers would look much better. Still, it's hard to conclude he's got a better future than Booker at this point. Perhaps the Jazz did blow it, but I'm also pretty certain tha Booker on this team is a role player putting up much much less gaudy numbers.
 
kanter won't play much in playoffs. his d is just so bad

yes and Houston will blow out OKC ,OKC needs offense to compete against Houston. they sat Kanter down for small minutes and got blasted by 31 points and couldn't bust 90 points
 
Looks like Rudy is officially out for Game 2. Favors expected to start.

Sure would be sweet to win this one and watch the Clippers fall apart.
 
Rudy better prevent Giannis from taking over the NBA. That dude was flat-out amazeballs. Holy ****. When he gets a wet 3-point shot, he'll be totally unguardable.
 
I wonder if Quin would consider putting in Bolomboy at the 5 and playing 5-out for a few sneaky possessions to see what that does.

I doubt it... Exum didn't see 1 minute on the court IIRC ... I just don't think he's gonna trust them in these playoffs.

Memphis really missing Tony Allen, they're already low on talent his absent just made it much worse.
