I saw Durant as the next Jordan when people were arguing over Kobe or Lebron. He is a guy that never reached his potential.

He definetly reached his potential, he just hasn't been able to rise to the occasion when it mattered most.

I picked him the last two years in the second round. Never got far with him, though two years ago I had the best team IMO but was blown out of the first round of voting because apparently I didn't have enough experience. My top two guys were Hakeem and Durant.

I went in with the idea of building a long athletic team with tons of shooting and long athletic 4's as I new the old time players had no chance of guarding. I faced such a team and lost big. To this day, I still believe I got screwed.

Yes unfortunately no matter how you do at picking your players, and even defending your team against the opposition, ultimately it is the people and their votes that decide the outcome in this game. Like if you pick up Malone or Stockton, you already have some good chance to win. Other players that get their teams voted on in the polls as soon as their names are seen must be Jordan and Duncan as I saw it. And believe me, this crowd is NOT a fan of dunks. The team that I had formed 2 or 3 years before was absolute ABA throw down - show down, but we lost.

Funny enough, I have the age advantage with Durant. No doubt he can beat all y'all 50+ year old trash
