2016 NBA Playoff Thread

Wow. Did not see it ending with a brainfart turnover lol.

Seemed to me they were letting a lot of stuff go late in the game. I would have shocked to hear a whistle on the game winner.

It's typical for refs to let more contact go in the final minutes, especially in the playoffs.

Yarp. And it's the right thing to do I think. No-one wants to watch a free throw shooting contest.

Yeah, I'd rather see a physical game. But I also think they need to call blatant fouls like Harden's push off.

Saw the highlights. Nice push-off by Harden for the win.

I suppose it isn't the first time this year that the Rockets won the game in the final seconds off a terrible no-call ;)

It doesn't really matter. The Warriors will win the next two games.

Classic NBA buffoonery: Houston calls a timeout to set up an in bounds play that will secure the victory...and the Houston dude throws it RIGHT INTO THE HANDS OF THE WARRIOR GUY! Then, after Harden scores, the Warriors call a time out to set up a play with 3 seconds left...and the knucklehead dribbles the ball off his foot out of bounds! Well, at least the knucklehead admitted he was a knucklehead when interviewed after the game! I give him credit for that!

That wasn't such a blatant push off. You want to see a blatant push off watch Michael Jordan's one against the Jazz in the Finals a couple of decades ago! The refs aren't going to call that stuff anyway. Not in the final minutes of a game.

GS sets a billion moving picks that are more blatant than Harden's stiff arm.

There is also Draymond Green wrestling Michael Beasley to the ground on an inbound play.

yep, GS has made the moving screen a point of emphasis just like defensive backs made illegal grabbing and bumping a thing in the NFL. The strategy is that you force the officials to set the line, but you go out and try to move that line further every single night. If you succeed, then the field of play really opens up; that's a boundary that's good to push (if you want to win, that is).

NBA reports James Harden should have been called for offensive foul on game-winning shot for initiating contact.

...a billion moving picks? HOW about a TRILLION palming violations that EVERY team commits EVERY GAME!!! You want to clean up the game and get back to REAL basketball, let's start with that!
