2016 NBA Playoff Thread

Jesus ****, we got *** raped with no vaseline.

I can only hope my guys can bounce back and that was an anomaly. But I think the Spurs may have just turned on the playoff switch.

They going to win it all if they keep playing like that. That first half was perfect basketball on their part.

The Spurs have been killing it all year. If people weren't so busy jerking off to the Warriors they might have noticed before it was too late.

Yeah but OKC split the series 2-2 and all their losses were down to the wire. I dont think anyone expected this.

Killing them in the pick n roll. As Chris Webber said "This is the worst PNR defense I have ever seen".

I love Pops. I don't know why my teams don't do this. But on every play Kanter was in they went right at him. Kanter is such a terrible defender that he would stay too long on the guard and end up leaving LA wide open. He's just so lazy and stupid on defense.

To be fair, none of the other OKC bigs challenged LA.

This series is going to be over quick if the Spurs see Kanter for more than about 5 mins. He's such a liability on defense.

I wish our coaches would purposely attack certain players. We seem to run the exact same stuff against everyone. We would run the exact P&R whether we were playing Kanter or Tyson Chandler. Doesn't make sense.

They like LA better.
Still don't see how Vegas wouldn't be a top 10 free agent destination. What other NBA cities can compete with that combo of night life and warm weather? LA, Miami, and...?

It's lame to have two teams in one city. If the Clippers were to ever relocate, I've always thought Vegas would be an appealing choice for them. It's the entertainment capital of the world--having a professional sports team to add to that would only make sense.

Vegas is hot as balls. I'm not sure the weather is a selling point. Not that I disagree that the night life has its appeal.

In the summer it is, but during the basketball season it's nice. I was just there two weeks ago and the weather was amazing (70-75; mostly sunny).

Portland playing like ****. Was hoping for a better showing. It's still early. Get it together Portland, I'd like to watch one competitive game this playoffs.

Every game will be a blowout besides game 3. Portland should have lost in 5 to Clippers if it wasnt for injuries.

Vegas just seems like a place it would be nice to visit, but I would never want to live there, even as a rich NBA player.

I think without Curry, Portland should be competitive with GSW. They'd still lose, but I'm still expecting a solid showing.

Pretty sure all of those pros mentioned above could also be negatives.

What coach, GM, owner, and commish, would want to worry every night about their players? I'm not sure there's a city quite like Vegas on earth. It would be so difficult for a franchise to stay focused long enough to win anything. It could be a PR disaster after PR disaster for the league. And the home court advantage would really suck. A pro team in Vegas just seems like a disaster waiting to happen.

What makes Vegas so much more dangerous than any other city to a pro athlete? They can go out and party anywhere. I guess gambling would be worrisome for some rich young people, but there are other cities with legal gambling (New Orleans).

I got news for you....with or without Curry, Golden State vs Spurs is going to be some series! It's probably going to go 7 games anyway!
