What's new

2016 NBA Playoff Thread

Told ya'll little ******. Get ready to eat that crow you Curry fanboys. First REAL championship team they've faced in the last two years in the playoffs.

If OKC wins the title, this has to be considered the toughest path to a championship of all time, right? 67 win Spurs, 73 win Warriors, and the Cavs are a playoff powerhouse.

This was the type of win that could really crush GS's confidence and really catapult OKC to greatness.

To be honest OKC has looked like the best team in the playoffs aside from that first game against the Spurs. In this series, they've thoroughly outplayed GS. Even in game 1, the score was far closer than it actually was.

I think Golden State is in serious trouble now. Especially if Green is suspended.

OKC is just as athletic on the outside and much bigger and stronger inside. If there's anyone who can break Curry, it's Westbrook. And Durant isn't a slouch. Golden State has no one that can stop him.

I still hate the way they play. But Westbrook has definitely made a better effort to facilitate rather than score.

Frankly, I'd be surprised to see GS come back from this. OKC to me looks bigger, faster, and stronger. Steve Kerr has his work cut out for him. He might have actually met a team more talented than his own for a change.

If OKC makes it to the title, I think that could be an all time finals. LeBron v KD. Thompson v Adams. Love v Ibaka. Kyrie v Westbrook.

I actually might prefer that over golden state.

I agree I said that when the spurs were down. I would have preferred a GSW vs SAS WCF because I think it would have been better basketball than what we are seeing now. On the flip side I would rather see OKC vs CLE. That will be a great series.

I like Green. He's got game and plays with a lot of fire. But I've seen this fire turned to just outrageous behavior this year. That kick should get him suspended for tomorrow's game. What a dirty play. He has got to learn.
He actually made me feel bad for Adams, who is one of the dirtier players in the league.

Didn't Malone kick the **** out of someones balls?

And knock someone out cold, and break a cheekbone, and knock out teeth, and end a college player's career? yes

Malone's elbows were far worse than his kicks. His kicks were usually meant to draw fouls. Every once in a while they'd connect into someone's body. Never too bad. His elbows though? I'm surprised that The Admiral even survived that. Or Nash.

What happened to Harrison Barnes? Remember when most on this board (myself included) thought he was going to be a really good player? I don't think he could even start for us now. G, Hood, and Burks are all better.

Adams has completely changed the trajectory of this OKC team. He's been incredible for them.

He is a passive player who plays on a team where he isn't challenged, or relied upon, to expand his game. I hope someone else maxes him just so we can see him have to.
