2016 NBA Playoff Thread

No way GSW loses this one at home Green or no Green. They are just too deep.
Iirc, LeBron averages more PPG when facing elimination than any player in history. You throw in the fact that Green won't be there to guard him (he's been great at it thus far) and I definitely give Cleveland a chance.

Love is crying in joy knowing that he won't have to face Green in game 5.

BS decision by NBA. Dellavedova made real contact with Iggy's nuts and was not even given flagrant. Green did not even touch LBJ and got suspended. They really want more games and more revenues it appears. Despite that I think GSW will win it anyway.

Green should have been suspended against OKC, and he gets away with more **** than anybody in the league, so excuse me if I don't shed a tear for Draymond, AKA Kung Fu Panda. But yeah, the league is kind of gutless in not suspending him except when it serves their agenda.

Naw it just means Iggy will play >40 minutes.

I think it'll be less-so a Lebron explosion, moreso an explosion of the other players. Bogut needs to have a huge game & offer that rim protection-- likely they throw in Frye who makes him unplayable.

Curry
Klay
Iggy
Livingston
Barnes

This might be the lineup they close with if Frye is at the 5. If it's TT, they'll bring in Bogut

Draymond can't even be at the Oracle unless he wants to lose a game check which is $140K...he's obviously going to pay that but him missing out on that celebration would be a good kick in the nuts.

I would just lose the check.

This is an April Fools joke, right? You can't be serious!? They actually suspended Green for that non-contact issue with Lebron? Got to be a conspiracy of the highest proportions to try and milk another game or two out of this series! IF the Cav's do win game 5 and then game 6 and somehow come back and win game 7....there should and will be a BIG asterisk on this championship for sure! Green did NOTHING to deserve a suspension on that play! If anything, Lebron was the instigator and HE should have been assessed a flagrant 2 for stepping over Green in a disrespectful hip hop way with the intent of provoking Green!

This is one of the worst and most obviously biased decisions I can remember. Never has league favoritism toward Lebron been more brutally obvious. No matter what the outcome this series is now being played with a giant asterisk.

Cavs have become undeserving of a championship when their star lost his cool and at the end of a lost game instigated 2 incidents....and the league rewards him?

Lebron who instigated and disrespected the Warriors throughout the game and after....stepping on and over Draymond, and pushing and shoving Curry. Now the league hands down a punishment which is so one-sided and pays no mind to Jame's actions. Pathetic! Terrible travesty of justice!!!

Dude they gave him a flagrant for punching him in the nuts. They didn't suspend him for that one play. They suspended him because he reached the flagrant limit. He should have been smarter.

Weren't you a Harpring fan? Lebron did what Harpring did his while career, instigate emotionally unstable players.

Haha wow.

Makes sense, this way they possibly extend the high-priced Finals games while Warriors still likely to win.

On the OKC series, they were afraid OKC was going to win so no suspension there.

NBA is so rigged lol.

I would be totally ok with suspending him vs OKC for that kick but not for this...
Which one? He should have been suspended for the nut punt. The NBA does nothing, and the next thing you know, he nearly takes off a few heads with a karate kick. Just because it didn't land, doesn't mean it's ok to be going all super-ninja like he's Bruce ****ing Lee. A suspension for Draymond "The Karate Kid" Green has been long over due.

Bull cookies. Green should have been suspended against OKC, but the league didn't want to handi-cap the Warriors when they were already down in a series. So instead, they wait until the Warriors are in a favorable position and give him a suspension for something minor in hopes it will extend what has been a ho-hum series so far. Don't act like Lebron is going to be in some great position even if they win the next game. He'll still have his back to the wall.

BTW, Green is a punk. Anything he gets is well deserved and then some.

I have no problem.

This is long overdue. He should've been suspended against OKC.

And, the NBA needs to protect assets like LeBron. I have no problem with them protecting LeBron. He brings in more money into the league in one month than most teams do in a year.

If Hayward can ever become an all star, I'd hope that the NBA would protect him more than some scrub from minny.

There should NEVER have been a flagrant foul on the play to begin with! 3 refs, on the floor at the time, looked at the replay OVER, AND OVER AND OVER again...and determined it was just a common foul! So, why the reversal from 400 miles away two days later? Bogus, complete and utter buffoonery!!! Hey, I got no horse in this race, and I'm not that big of a Green fan to boot...but this suspension based on this bogus flagrant foul call is as pathetic as it gets!
