If you dont remember Utah just dumped all over Houston, partially due to the fact they have no size. This addition is huge for them if his body can hold up.
If they needed him that badly they would have done that deal ages ago, no?
No idea what the problem was with that. I assume it was probably a break down in communication among the agent/FO and they really needed another team to offer so they could match.
But you can think it was just out of spite, which is really weird since letting someone go to Brooklyn would be the most spiteful thing you could do.
