I think Timberwolves are in for a season similar to ours 2 years ago. Rough start, hard losses a lot of moral victories and then will make a run in the second half of the season.

Locke talked about this and how Carter got up on him since Wiggins can't really dribble. How useful it was to have a player that read up on scouting reports and knew how to attack a certain player.

Also looks like the Rockets can score but cannot stop anyone from scoring either.
 
4 orebs for Wiggins tho, thats the stat im watching for him closest moving forward, if he starts to really hit the oboards at a dominant rate he'll score 20ppg again easily.

He already averaged 20 points per game last season with 1.3 o-boards, so that is not saying much.
 
D-League to feature first 3 team 6 quarter basketball game

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - The Santa Cruz Warriors will play one home preseason game against the Reno Bighorns and the Salt Lake City Stars (formerly the Idaho Stampede) in a three-way preseason game on Sunday, Nov. 6 at 3 p.m. at Kaiser Permanente Arena. The exhibition game will consist of six 12-minute quarters with each team playing a total of two quarters apiece. There will be a 15 minute halftime/warmup between halves, with 10 minutes allotted for the sitting team and five additional minutes for opponents. The timeout limit for the first quarter of each half will be waived. Quarters one, three and five will be designated as "teaching quarters" in which the timeout limit will be removed. Santa Cruz will play the first two quarters of the preseason game against the Salt Lake City Stars. The Warriors will then face Reno in the third and fourth quarters. To close the tri-game, Reno and Salt Lake City will play each other in the fifth and sixth quarters.

Peculiar season opener for the Wizards. If the Jazz performed as they just did in the last 15 minutes this forum would be flooded with negativity..


There was a bit of a squabble over a Kentbazemore Flagrant on John Wall, and the Wizards have been absolutely melting down ever since.. Lots of STUPID mistakes..

they were also trying to say how clearly Chandler Parsons was clearly better than Hayward last year ... dumbasses. Derek Harper i think ??
