Strange But True: Zaza Pachulia has more NBA All-Star votes than Kawhi Leonard, Anthony Davis, & Boogie Cousins in first fan vote results.

All-star Voting is such a joke. Zaza is going to get in ahead of Davis, Cousins and Gobert...

BTW No Jazz player is any where close to being voted in. They are so far down on the list they are not even getting mentioned. Good thing it isnt up to fans to vote all the players in. I wish they would just get rid of fan voting, it is pointless.

this ... total farce. Zaza getting one vote illustrates what a farce it is. So don't care about all star games. The only thing i hope this year is Gordon gets in so he feels more inclined to stay, and that Rudy doesn't so he plays the rest of the season even more steamed than ususal.

So Cleveland already averages the 2nd highest 3PT% and the 2nd highest 3PT frequency. Now they add Kyle Korver. Not to mention J.R. has been hurt.

I definitely see them beating GS in the Finals again.

I don't get why the Hawks would give away Korver for a song pretty much to a Eastern conference team? Just makes absolutely no sense.

I thought you could get a decent one for $65k? I mean for a mortgage free home, that's pretty good, no? You can tow it anywhere, etc too.

You can get some for that price, some are more. But you have to pay for the property to put it on. They are not mobile homes necessarily just easier to move. They need to be hooked up to water and electricity and property anywhere people want to live isnt usually cheap. Plus if the guy got 100k that is going to be much much less than that after taxes, maybe close to half.

That is still a good chunk of change and I would be pretty excited to hit that shot.

Have you seen the college humor prank video about this? It is one of my favorite pranks ever.

Haven't seen that particular one, but the Jazz did that prank on a fan I think earlier this year?

The Tiny House thing - couldn't you just rent a small plot of land off your friend or parents or relatives? Shouldn't cost that much just to put a trailer somewhere?

I mean I assume you'd have a job and all that as well, you're not paying off a mortgage but a small land rent you should be able to afford no?

In a rural area maybe. Most zoning laws dont allow for another house on the property though.

The Jazz pranks are always dumb since they are clearly setup and the person being pranked is in on it. I did not see this particular one but they do them on "opposing fans" all the time. If they did it they stole the idea from these guys, this one was years ago.

Yah the Jazz one was kinda cheesy didn't work too well.

Most tiny houses are build on a trailer so they are not permanent structures and 'in theory' can be placed on any backyards, apparently.

I guess if your dream is to buy a tiny house on a trailer and park in a friend or families yard, then you are set. Although 50k~ (amount after taxes) is only a partial payment on the lower end ones.

I mean it could be life changing to get a few hundred bucks because you could live in a friends/families yard with a tent as well or maybe a couple thousand bucks and build a shed to live in. You can build your own tiny house for pretty cheap if you go that route as well.

Reminds me of when one of my favorite bartenders that quit one day because he got in a car wreck and won a "big settlement" and didnt need to work anymore. A few months later when he was working somewhere else I found out his settlement was 3k. He thought he was set for awhile and didnt need to work...

Its all just a silly discussion though. I would be pretty stoked to win that much money. Im pretty sure I would put most of it in the bank, some of it into a house project and maybe do something nice like a vacation or buy a new car/motorcycle project... or maybe blow it all on a crazy weekend with hookers and blow, one of the two.

Where is this magical ****ing house? I live in SLC, not New York. But if I want a tiny house in the cheapest areas, I should expect to pay at least 170k.

Here are some listings in Utah, but you can search listings for just about anywhere in the US.
