2017 Annual JazzFanz All-Time NBA Draft

What is in the write up exactly, is it the same each week or do you tailor it to you opponent?

McGrady is ahead of Shaq, Dirk and Kobe on that list. Pretty dumb list.

It is not surprising considering it is primarily looking at individual stats. Like a single player can post a hell of a PER for example and still suck as a team-mate and never really win anything (McGrady is an example of that again). Now often individual stats will = some level of success but it can overly inflate a single player in relation to other single players.

I have no recollection of McGrady playing six playoff games for the Spurs.

These are the playoff teams T-Mac played in. He played 5 mpg for the Spurs for 6 games.

The Spurs have beaten the Lakers four to nothing. They have beaten Golden State in six games. They have beaten Memphis grizzlies in four games. They have Lost to Miami heat in seven games.

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar-Bob McAdoo
Amar'e Stoudemire-Elton Brand
Vince Carter-Adrian Dantley
Julius Irving-Allan Houston
Kyrie Irving-Tiny Archibald

Kareem was great, no doubt. But he was soft as ****. Amar'e and Kyrie are pretty much sieves on defense. Vince and Julius can dunk, great. This is just an odd hodgepodge of players, quite frankly. I hate how they mix and match. Compare that to my team.

Chauncey Billups-Joe Dumars
Ray Allen-Drazen Petrovic
Grant Hill-Gordon Hayward
Lebron James-Wes Unseld
Chris Webber-Joel Embiid

As athletic as Ron's team is, mine is perhaps more athletic and has infinitely better chemistry, iq and passing. I will play his little game of running and pass the ball all over, his idiot defenders not rotating quickly enough as Chauncey "Mr. Big Shot" and Ray-Ray drill 3's and Grant and Lebron catch alley oops. It would be pretty ugly.

Which brings me back to my point that he has never been out of the first round until he joined the Spurs late in his career and only played 6 games. As you can see he was playing heavy minutes in those first round series too.

why on earth would you draft Gordon Hayward? You know this isn't Celtizfanz

Were his teammates able to stay healthy, we wouldn't be having this discussion.

Take a look at the lineups he was playing with. It was awful.
