Nice. Thought there was a chance people had forgot about him and would fall a little further. Will be an interesting year to see what he can do with Pop and that system, they should bring out the best in him.

Also interested to see where Pop will play Kawhi. There's rumours he could start at the PG spot ala Harden, now that Parker is on his way down. Kawhi's assists increased from 2.6 to 3.5 last season. He was very ball dominant.

Kawhi
Green
Gay
Aldridge
Gasol

That's one hell of a team even in the West.

Kyle Lowry
Bradley Beal
Lebron James
Ryan Anderson / Jabari Parker
Dwight Howard

Obvious winner.

I'd like to say full of 3 point shooters cos everyone can shoot the 3's even Davis and Lopez can knock them down.

That should mean plenty of space in the middle for slashers like Gay, Wiggins and Irving to attack the paint and score or draw And-One's.

For "slashing" you need ball movement but you have a line-up that loves iso...

Kyrie averaged 5.8 assists per game last season, and that's playing next to 'ball hog' LeBron. Kyrie's assist numbers are gonna go through the roof once he's traded to a new team.

Did you really just call LeBron a ball hog?

I doubt they are 'point guard' assists... more likely to be lobs to Lebron in open court. He can pass but his is far from a 'willing passer'. Same can be said of Wiggins, Gay, Lopez and Davis.

He's never averaged more than 6.1 apg.

Irving lacks good vision (compared to other PG's) and is a scoring guard. I wouldn't expect him to get a high amount of assists, it's just never been his game.

I wouldn't say 6.1 is all that low, Steph averaged 6.6 last season, Lillard's was 5.9.

But Steph would probably average 10 a game if it was tallied like hockey assists. GS offense is a lot of kick-kick...

(He passes to an open shooter who turns it down to kick to someone with a better shot)

But how many assists would Steph or Lillard average had they played in Cleveland next to LeBron last season? More or less than last season's 6.6 and 5.9?
