It was less the trading, and more that I got stuck in an important work meeting that I had to be at and couldn't get my pick lined up. Wanted Durant and thought he'd fall. Adjusted my strategy after he went off the board. Had a deal that I was trying to work out that fell through. WC just happened to want to work out a trade to get Curry and I went along with it because he wasn't my main target. Went into this targeting Durant or Leonard. Thought one would slip to 5, but I was wrong on that. Sorry for holding things up. I'm usually free during the day and can pick quickly, but my meeting today was not something I could miss - just had to work in my pick around it.

Curry is a special talent for sure, but he doesn't fit the team that I wanted to build. I was always going to take a wing or a big man to build around. Gobert might have gone a little early, but he was taken at 15/12 the past two years and was almost surely in the top 10 this year. I tried to trade down to a more reasonable spot before my pick, but had no takers. Just decided to pull the trigger and not hold things up any longer than I already had.
 
You can definitely build a championship team around Gobert and having him ensures you don't have to play against him.
 
come on OL. I TOLD HIM TO SEND A LIST OF THE TWO GUYS HE WANTED TO FISH THEN WHILE HIS TURN ASKS IF ANYONE WAS INTERESTED IN A TRADE, AND NOTHING SINCE. Doofus!!!

I like the idea of otc trades. Easier to gage if u can pick up an extra pick and still get your guy. Taking those trades away takes away some of the fun and strategy. It's the summer and it's boring, why speed this up. Take our time and have some god damn fun for hell sakes!!

Y'all are impatient. We wanted trades allowed so picks are going to take awhile. No reason to complain until it's closer to 12 hours. People gotta sleep and it's too hard to give a reasonable list to someone. There are trades and to many factors to just give someone a list.
