I think we easily could have had him. We love continuity and keeping our guys though. He went cheaper than I thought he would. He is injury prone though so let’s see if he can stay on the court.

I wanted him in the offseason. I think we could have made something work well. Niang all the way, tho.

I just read some beat reporter stuff on hoopshype... he is getting called out by Beal, Wall, Morris and the coach. There is just no strong/good leadership there. I think he functions better in a system and from what I’ve seen of Brooks he’s not a system guy.

Has to be draining to be with guys like Wall and Morris. I’m guessing they move Otto in the next 12 months for different less expensive pieces. They have to pay Oubre too and he’s started playing well.
 
I think Otto Porter would be a fit in utah, but wtf is wrong with em right now? his team is really tearing em up?

I think those are not the best personalities to work with. Beal and Wall have been open about saying they aren’t buddies but it works on the court... add in a Morris twin and a coach who is kind of just to keep his job... just not an environment to flourish. Also as a wing guy with two other ball dominant wings it must suck to not see the ball but cut sprint play defense and all that... he was really good last year and was excellent when wall was out. I think it’d work real well for him here. Put him in the Joe Ingles training program for shooters and all of a sudden he makes 40% on 10 attempts a game...

I love that people knock him for being chubby or out of shape... the Nikola Jokic argument... I mean if you can wreck fools while being chubby what happens when you put the kid on a workout and diet regimen
 
Hot take alert... someone gonna take a cheap shot at Steph or KD. They are having a lot of fun at the expense of their opponents. I think it’s fun but it’s definitely straight disrespect to the dudes they playing. Someone gonna get sick of it and lay one of those dudes out.

that's nothing new. It says a lot about someone how they conduct themselves when they're on top. They're a pack of classless douches and i'm really hoping as they decline that teams really give it to them

That's the problem with this League though, if you haven't won a 'Chip' you're a nobody. Curry, Thompson, Draymond and Durant are now the best of all time because they've won multiple 'Chips'. It doesn't matter that it takes 4 All Stars to team up to win (of course they'll win). Doesn't matter that it was due to some cap space technicality that they were able to add Durant.
